Shaoxing’s residential development ‘The Future City’ integrates PORCELANOSA Grupo materials, creating elegant and harmonious spaces.

The construction process of the Asian residential complex ‘The Future City’ includes four phases. So far, phase 1 and phase 2 have been built, comprising 2,400 dwellings: 2,200 flats and 200 villas. The homes are expected to be completed by 2027. The exclusive development is located close to Shaoxing Railway Station, which connects to access to the cities of Shanghai and Hangzhou.

In the residential development of Shaoxing, ‘The Future City’ has prioritized the integration between the design and the products used. The use of Prada Caliza (Porcelanosa) as the general flooring in the communal areas adds extra warmth to the atmosphere. As for the planning of the restaurant area, the interior designers took into account the material, colour and texture of the ceramics to be used. In this way, a harmonious atmosphere was created with the furniture and lamps. For this purpose, the cement effect model, Bottega Caliza (Porcelanosa), was used.
This integration has been transferred to the rest of the areas, such as the swimming pool and the gymnasium. In the case of the swimming pool, Bottega White (Porcelanosa) with a non-slip finish has been installed. And in the gym changing room, the walls have been covered with the wood-inspired Bremen Natural model by Porcelanosa. And the flooring is also Bottega White. The mix of finishes accentuates the feeling of comfort and warmth to the space in the Shaoxing residential development.
Visual and material continuity is the maxim for the common shower area of the Shaoxing residential development. Mosaico Prada Caliza (Porcelanosa) has been chosen as the wall tile, which shows a unique relief and colour, creating an elegant and relaxed atmosphere.
